How do I set up the eSIM?

First of all, make sure you have a Wi-Fi connection so you can set up the eSIM properly.

• Follow these steps to add the new data plan:
  
  Settings > Mobile data > Add data plan. This process may slightly vary depending on your device.

• Scan the QR code. You may want to open the QR code on your computer screen or have it printed out so you can scan it with your phone.  
• Start the download. Once you scan the QR code, it will download the eSIM to your phone. You may need to click "Confirm" to start the download.
• Name the eSIM. You can name the new data plan to tell it apart from your SIM.
• Activate data only. Enter the new data plan and select the "data only" option. This way calls and SMS will still be associated with your original SIM.
• Activate the data plan. Once you have followed these steps, you can activate your plan. To do this, enable mobile data and data roaming in your phone's settings.
